Nintendo DS Browser

The Nintendo DS Browser was co-developed by Nintendo and Opera and provides web browsing on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite system. The Opera browser software is stored on the Nintendo DS cartridge, a memory expansion you caninsert into the GBA slot. The browser uses both screens of theNintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite handheld. While the standard screen is displayed on the bottom, an expansion will be provided on the upper screen to provide a better browsing experience. Type your Web address on a keyboard display or using the DS stylus. A parent lock function is provided to disable the access to the internet for children.

The one problem with the Nintendo DS browser is the dependency on wi-fi signal. I bought this as a gift for a little boy into games and computers. It did not work. They did not have a wireless router or wi-fi. It was a frustrating gift. -- wi-fi dependent Nintendo DS browser

Very good idea, but dont buy it, just trade in your old DS for a DSi, and pay about thirty bucks extra, and you've got not only a browser, but a camera too! -- DSi
