Purchased for my child's 9th birthday. It was fun, but way too easy for her and she completed the whole game within a couple of days, so it didn't last very long. -- OK game. Fun and Cute. Maybe better for younger kids.

My 6 year old daughter loves this game. It took a little bit of guiding from me and my wife to help her understand what the game wanted her to do, but now that she's got the hang of it, she loves it. We also got Littlest Pet Shop City, but decided to trade it to someone else because it's too similar to this game. Apparently there are different pets to unlock and such, but the look and feel and initial areas are exactly the same. My daughter was a bit disappointed by that, so we decided to pass the game on to a friend and get a different game. -- My daughter loves this game. Can't put it down.

My 9 year old niece loved this game and played it several hours after she first got it. She was still playing it the next day. Her 8 year old sister liked it too. It does require reading. Lots of thought balloons. Very fun for elementary age kids who know how to read. My favorite part was that they played it silently with the sound off. It has sound but apparently it is not needed to play the game.
