I purchased this game for my 8 year old niece who wanted this game more than anything else for Christmas. She maintains that it continues to be among her favorite games. She lights up when she talks about it. She likes the way that she can take care of the animals & make them her own pets. She has other Nintendo Games that allow her to care for horses which are not very fun to her so this game must be pretty engaging to have kept her interest this long. -- Imagine Zookeeper DS

In this game you are a zoo keeper that goes to a wildlife reserve to help take care of the animals.
You get to take care of animals such as: zebras, elephants, water buffalos, koalas, gorillas, giraffees, lions, and impalas.
As you go though the game you build your camp and put buildings such as hospitals, houses, food warehouses on it to help keep it running, this part could be sort of annoying because if you want to put a building in a specific place it sometimes wont let you put it there and towards the end of the games since you have so many buildings you dont know where to put them all.
Throughout the game you also got through several missions such as: counting animals, tracking animals, taking pictures of animals, caring for the animals, etc.
Overall I like the game but get somewhat annoyed when it comes to the building parts. -- Like It, But Some Parts Can Be Annoying
