User Reviews about Championship Pony
I bought this game for my 6yr old girl who LOVES horses. You get to pick your horse and stuff, then purchase your own items like a saddle, a hair braid at the store. You can even buy a new horse! You have to complete competitions in order to get money to use in the store. The competitions were a little hard at first, but my little girl is getting better at them now. You have to steer the horse through some obstacles, sometimes jumping logs and stuff. This is all done with the stylus on the screen, so that was tough for my beginner DS daughter. She has improved though! -- 6yr old girl
If you love horses, you will love this game. I bought it for my niece and she loves it! I too love to play it with her. It's got great interaction with the horses and she loves to buy things for each of them. A really fun game! -- If into horses, must purchase.
I bought this game for my 8-year-old neice and she loves it. Says it is very fun to play. -- Fun game
I bought this for my daughter on her 6th b-day along with a few other games. She put it in once and then kinda forgot about it and played with the other games as children will do.Then, out of the blue, she put it in and started playing with it and now it is her all time favorite.Go figure. It's an ok game.I would not recommend for older children though.I feel they may lose interest.Basically all you do is run the horse through different courses and make them jump over obstacles.Of course you get timed for each event and win more $$ the better you do.Then you can buy clothes for them and different accessories. All in all a good game for a younger child.Cant beat the price!!!! -- Fun but not GREAT by any means
My horse-crazy daughter just got a Nintendo DS lite and this is by far her favorite game so far. It took her a little while to figure out how to manipulate the horse with the stylus, particularly when the horse is supposed to jump. But she eventually got the hang of it and now loves to play it. I don't think this would be challenging for older girls, but it's perfect for someone in the 6-8 age range. -- A big hit with my 6-year-old!
